The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Microsoft Official Curriculum for UCCI’s Microsoft IT Academy. Courses include but, are not limited to, Server 2008, Exchange 2007, Windows Vista, CompTIA and Cisco. The Technical Instructor will also be responsible for managing the intern programme with our external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching Microsoft Office courses on an as needed basis
- Assisting Help Desk with difficult technical issues
- Managing VUE, Prometric and Certiport Testing Centre
- Providing technical assistance on the University network when requested and in the absence of the Chief Technology Officer.
- Conducting all requested duties directed by the Chief Technology Officer
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in the IT Industry
- Minimum 1 to 5 years experience in the IT Training Industry
- Microsoft Certified Trainer
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Server Administrator
- Knowledgeable in or certified in Microsoft Server 2008, Exchange 2007, SQL 2008, Office 2007 and Windows Vista.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Enterprise Administrator
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Enterprise Messaging Administrator
- Dell Diagnostic Engineer Training
